About us....... Our records show that as long ago as 1879, people living in Cardiff and surrounding areas came together to attend Sunday services and demonstrations of Mediumship.
They met in rooms over shops and then in 1924 took out a mortgage and raised funds to build the current Church and Centre which is a registered Charity and is affiliated to the Spiritualist National Union.
There is a lot going on at our Centre. We have two divine services, a clairvoyant service, healing takes place at the Centre twice a week, we have an open circle plus much more............
Being part of the SNU means that we have a code of conduct that we adhere to and our own set of rules to abide by. We feel this is necessary as it enables members of the public to walk through our doors and feel comfortable, for anyone interested in Spiritualism it's a very good place to start - hopefully you will want to stay! The SNU is the largest Spiritualist organisation in the world. Various workshops take place here ranging from mediumship to healing. Also, as we are attached to the South Wales District Council, it is possible to take part in educational courses run by them and to go on to take recognised qualifications in healing or mediumship if you so choose.
Healing is important to us here also and all SNU approved healers have spent at least two years training in line with the standards of the UK Healers Regulatory Body. Only when a trainee has completed a rigorous procedure of education and various assessments, truly demonstrating a level of sufficient knowledge and skill can they be upgraded to an 'approved healer' status.
Our Approved Healers are also qualified to work in hospitals. Spiritual healing is a natural energy therapy that complements conventional medicine by treating you - mind, body and spirit.
Healing is free, but donations are always welcome as they go towards the upkeep of the Centre.
We also have our 'Specials', these evenings range from Halloween to Christmas Specials, these events will be advertised in upcoming events.
